Reservation Information Your selected squares are not reserved until payment has been successfully completed. When you select squares they are temporarily held for a limited reservation period to allow checkout to be completed. If payment is not completed within the reservation window the selected squares will automatically be released and become available for other participants. Once payment has been processed successfully you will receive confirmation by email detailing the squares allocated to you and this confirmation acts as proof of entry.

Organiser Information This fundraising draw is organised and administered on behalf of Fylde Rugby Football Club by authorised club officers responsible for overseeing the operation of the draw, the allocation of squares and the supervision of the result. The draw is conducted as part of the club’s fundraising activities to support grassroots rugby and club facilities.

Regulatory Information Fylde Rugby Football Club operates fundraising activities in accordance with UK legislation relating to club fundraising and prize draws and in accordance with guidance from local authority regulators and the UK Gambling Commission. All proceeds from this fundraising draw support the sporting and community activities of Fylde Rugby Football Club.

Entry Limits and Pricing A maximum of 9,432 numbered squares are available within the fundraising draw grid. Squares are available through tiered entry bundles which provide discounted pricing for multiple square purchases and full pricing details are displayed on the event page prior to checkout. Entries close when all squares have been sold or at kickoff of the Fylde Rugby Football Club v Rossendale match on 18 April, whichever occurs first.

Event Process The cow will enter the pitch following the conclusion of the Fylde Rugby Football Club 1st XV home match against Rossendale on 18 April and the result of the draw will be determined by the position of the first cow pat deposited on the pitch. The location of the cow pat will be measured from the edges of the grass playing surface to the centre of the cow pat and this measured position will determine the corresponding square on the draw grid.

Event Determination The result of the event is determined solely by the natural behaviour and movement of the cow on the playing surface and the location at which the first cow pat is deposited. Entry purchases do not influence the behaviour of the animal or the outcome of the event and simply correspond to numbered positions within the draw grid.

Determining the Winning Square If the measured centre of the cow pat falls within a square that has been sold, the entrant assigned to that square will be declared the winner. If the measured centre of the cow pat falls within a square that has not been sold, the winning square will be determined as the sold square whose boundary is closest to the measured centre of the cow pat, using the shortest distance from the centre of the pat to the nearest edge of the square. If two or more sold squares are equally close, the tie will be decided by the shortest distance from the centre of the cow pat to the centre of the square. If there is still a tie, the square with the lowest official square number will be declared the winner. The Draw Supervisor will confirm the measurement and the resulting winning square before the result is announced.

Additional Prize Draws Additional prizes associated with the event will be drawn electronically using the list of confirmed square entries and the results will be announced on the same day as the cow pat event. Electronic draws will be conducted using the recorded entry database to ensure fairness and transparency.

Prize Conditions Each entrant is eligible to win only one prize within the draw. If an entrant is drawn for more than one prize the first prize allocated will stand and a new electronic draw will take place to allocate the remaining prize. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered unless stated otherwise.

Eligibility Participants must be 18 years of age or older to take part and must be residents of the United Kingdom. By purchasing a square participants confirm that they meet these eligibility requirements. The Club Honorary Secretary and the Draw Supervisor are not permitted to enter the draw and are not eligible to win any prize.

Fairness and Transparency All square selections and payments are recorded digitally and square ownership is locked once payment has been completed. Measurements and results will be verified by the Draw Supervisor before the announcement of the winning square to ensure transparency for all participants. The decision of the organisers in relation to the result of the draw will be final. The name of the winners may be published by the club following the draw for transparency.

Event Conditions The organisers reserve the right to adjust the timing of the event if required due to weather conditions, animal welfare considerations, safety requirements or other unforeseen circumstances. In the unlikely event that the cow pat event cannot proceed the organisers will determine alternative arrangements in accordance with club policies and applicable regulations.
